In a proactive move towards enhancing personnel’s digital skills, Quirino State University (QSU) initiated the “Web Development for Web Developers Training” today. The program, conducted for 44 faculty and staff members from the Diffun, Cabarroguis, and Maddela campuses, is scheduled from December 11 to 15, 2023.

The training as part of the SHARE iT (Skills HARnessing Experience through IT) Project, is an extension activity led by the Bachelor of Science in Information Technology Department. It is set at the Learning Resource Center, JAAH Building, QSU, Diffun, Quirino, with the aim of providing participants with the skills to develop websites that conforms to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines.

In her opening message, DICT Regional Director Engr. Pinky T. Jimenez, through a representative, encouraged the active engagement of the participants to broaden their skills in web development. “Together, let us strive to make significant strides in the digital realm, ensuring that our government websites are at the forefront of technology, accessibility, and user satisfaction,” she added.

The training will be facilitated by Dr. Jay-r R. Duldulao, Mesdames Divine Grace D. Olaño, Rhiza Grace A. Ramos, Jeanne Shannon O. Garcia, Sirs Sandy E. Laranang, Romar B. Antonio, and Bryan Gil Nayahan.
