In partnership with Cagayan State University (CSU), Quirino State University (QSU) Diffun Campus launched the use of an electric tricyle (e-Trike) for students and personnel around the campus starting today, February 5.
This collaborative research endeavor led by CSU President Dr. Urdujah G. Alvarado, Program Leader Engr. Arthur Ibanez and team, and Engr. Cierre Manaois, has successfully deployed the e-Trike at QSU for research and development purposes, providing complimentary transportation within the campus.

QSU, under the guidance of University President Dr. Hermenegildo F. Samoy Jr. and Dr. Elizabeth T. Carig, supported by the technical expertise of the General Services Office for vehicle maintenance, promotes the utilization of electronic vehicles on campus. This initiative aims to advocate sustainable, cost-effective, energy-efficient, and rider-friendly transportation solutions while contributing to ecological preservation.

QSU’s involvement in this project reflects a proactive response to address concerns related to air pollution.
