Teachers and students from Can Tho University (CTU) visited and observed classes at Diffun Central School Integrated Sped Center (DCSISC), Diffun, Quirino this afternoon, December 13, as part of the benchmarking program between the two universities.

CTU representatives observed the Mathematics classes of Maโ€™am Cecil Buraga (Grade-6 SPED) and Maโ€™am Eliza Marcelino (Grade-3 SPED), and Science classes of Maโ€™am Lorna Deocaris (Grade-6 SPED) and Maโ€™am Welita Garcia (Grade 4-SPED).

Dr. Hhuyn Ahn Huy and Dr. Dinh Minh Quang, CTU officials, together with their students, applauded and expressed their gratitude to teachers and students of DCSISC.

โ€œThe teachers are very good in giving instruction, in teaching and in managing their students, also, the students of the class are very active and knows what the teacher is asking,โ€ Dr. Huy exclaimed.

Meanwhile, during an interview with Dr. Mely M. Rubi, Public School District 1 Supervisor, she underscored the advantages of the said observation.

โ€œWe are so much happy because we will showcase how we deliver instructions in the Philippines particularly in District 1โ€ฆThis is an opportunity for our teachers also to learn from CTU students aside from them who will learn from us,โ€ she remarked.

Before the said visit, a communication letter was sent to DCSISC to ask for permission and approval of the observations, through the initiative of Dr. Romiro Bautista, QSU International Research Relation Officer.
