Setting a new benchmark for academic quality, Quirino State University emerged as the Top 1 Performing State University with the highest number of Level II accredited programs nationwide.
The award was conferred by the Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines (AACCUP) during its 39th Annual National Conference and General Assembly, held at the Century Park Hotel, Malate, Manila on March 24-26, 2026.

This national recognition highlights the University’s efforts toward achieving academic excellence and quality assurance. This was made possible through the successful Level II accreditation of six (6) programs from the Cabarroguis Campus, conducted on March 24–28, 2025 through the leadership of Dr. Hermenegildo F. Samoy, Jr., University President, with the support of Dr. Elizabeth T. Carig, Vice President for Academics, Research, Dr. Florigold V. Saldaen, Vice President for Administration and Finance. The award was formally received by Dr. Alfonso R. Simon, OIC-President, together with Dr. Elizabeth T. Carig, Dr. Rosalyn L. Delizo, Dr. Annalene Grace E. Co, and Ms. Claudine Fay T. Domingo, on behalf of the University.

Special recognition is likewise extended to Mr. Baltazar G. Damance, Campus Administrator-Cabarroguis Campus, Dr. Melidiosa V. Pagudpud, Quality Assurance counterpart of Cabarroguis Campus, Dr. Magdalena Guinumtad, Campus Director for Instruction, and the Program Chairpersons, whose leadership and hard work played a vital role in achieving this distinction.

Moreover, commendations are accorded to the following programs that earned Level II re-accreditation status at the Cabarroguis Campus in 2025: Bachelor of Arts in English Language Studies, Bachelor of Elementary Education, Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management, Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, and Bachelor of Science in Midwifery.

This milestone reflects the University’s dedication to “Acculturizing Innovation” through superior academic standards and rigorous accreditations.
