University President Dr. Hermenegildo F. Samoy Jr., along with other university officials, warmly welcomed the addition of nine new bamboo species generously donated by For. Estrella A. Pasion, PNRE Officer of Quirino and Jesusa N. Leal from Provincial DRRM Office. These valuable bamboo species are reserved for planting within the scenic grounds of the University’s Bambusari Ecopark.

This significant contribution not only enriches the biodiversity of the university’s ecological landscape but also underscores the institution’s commitment to environmental sustainability and conservation efforts. The integration of these bamboo species into the Bambusari Ecopark aligns with the university’s land use plan to foster green spaces and promote eco-friendly initiatives.

The University expresses sincere gratitude to For. Estrella A. Pasion, Jesusa N. Leal, and all partners involved for their invaluable support in enhancing the University’s environmental initiatives and contributing to the preservation of natural resources.
