The University has been honored with multiple recognitions, including the Digital Excellence Award, Future Builder Award, Education and Digital Transformation Champion Award, and Digital Transformation Champion Award. In addition, Ms. Rosalinda N. Espaldon was hailed as this year’s ICT Knowledge Catalyst Awardee. This milestone proves the institution’s steadfast efforts in advancing digital literacy and shaping the future of technology in the region.

The recognitions were awarded by the Department of Information and Communication Technology (DICT) Region II in collaboration with the ICT Literacy and Competency Development Bureau (ILCDB) Region II during the recent Partner Summit 2025 on November 25 in Tuguegarao City. The summit, themed โ€œWalang Iwanan sa Digital Bayanihanโ€ (Leave No One Behind in Digital Cooperation), celebrated key contributors who have significantly advanced digital literacy and ICT competency across the region.

A central highlight of the University’s participation was the introduction of its powerful guiding principle: MAGIC- Make Academe, Government, and Industry Collaborate. This initiative demonstrates the institution’s strategic approach to fostering synergistic partnerships that drive innovation.

The summit also featured a Ceremonial Signing of Commitment, where representatives from various sectors signed a symbolic commitment wall. This was followed by the formal signing of new Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs) and Letters of Intent (LOIs). These agreements strengthen strategic alliances for joint initiatives in digital infrastructure, ICT training, and capacity building, uniting the strengths of different sectors toward a common goal: a digitally empowered Cagayan Valley.

The institutional awards were received on behalf of the University by Ms. Rosalinda N. Espaldon, Ms. Divine Grace D. Olaรฑo, Dr. Arsenia V. Duldulao, Ms. Jovie S. Dela Peรฑa, and Mr. Jay Antonio.
This triumph marks not an endpoint, but a bold new beginning for the University as it continues to lead efforts in building a more innovative, inclusive, and digitally advanced Philippines.
