The University held the “Budget Disaggregation Workshop and PPMP Crafting for FY 2026” today, September 4, as a step toward strategic financial management for the upcoming fiscal year.
Held at the QSU Amphitheatre, Diffun Campus, the event convened key university officials from Diffun, Cabarroguis, and Maddela Campuses.
The activity commenced with a preliminary program, followed by a presentation of the proposed budget. Dr. Cherry P. Collado, Chief Administrative Officer for Finance, then facilitated a budget disaggregation briefing and workshop.
As a collaborative forum, the workshop enabled university officials to provide inputs and suggestions for the forthcoming fiscal year’s budget. The discussions centered on strategic priorities, including enhancing student services and facilities, expanding institutional carrying capacity, and promoting faculty development.
With the active involvement of Vice Presidents Dr. Florigold V. Saldaen and Dr. Elizabeth T. Carig, the Finance Department and Planning Unit successfully facilitated the event.
