The Federated QSU Staff Association (QSU SA) convened non-teaching personnel from Cabarroguis, Diffun, and Maddela campuses for a general assembly today, September 26 at the University Gymnasium of Diffun Campus. The event brought together administrative staff to discuss key association matters and strengthen collaboration.

Mr. Julie E. Luis, QSU SA President, opened the assembly with a call for unity. He illustrated the association’s desired growth by comparing it to nurturing a tree, emphasizing that active participation is essential to drive growth and development.

Mr. Rohito P. Roga, Accountant III and Association Vice President, presented the association’s Constitution and By-Laws for review and potential amendments, ensuring alignment with members’ needs. The assembly also covered critical updates, including financial reports, the association’s accomplishments, mission reaffirmation, future projects, and progress on the Collective Negotiation Agreement (CNA), which outlines staff welfare and benefits.

The meeting concluded with a message of gratitude from Dr. Florigold V. Saldaen, Vice President for Administration and Finance. She thanked the organizing committee and acknowledged the members’ valuable participation. The general assembly became a platform for open communication between the members and officials, which actively promoted and maintained organizational transparency.
