Quirino State University, through the leadership of the University President, Dr. Hermenegildo F. Samoy, Jr., together with the VP for Academic, Research and Extension, Dr. Elizabeth T. Carig, the project leader, Dr. Dyanika P. Nolasco, and project staff, For. Joel G. Carig met the municipal mayor of LGU-Saguday, Hon. Jerry M. Pagbilao today, January 12, for an intensified partnership for research and extension initiatives and activities.

Through this partnership, LGU Saguday shall be assisted in developing the eco-tourism park in the locality by providing them technical assistance and expertise in cultivating an area devoted for agriculture. Various projects shall also be put up like plantations for banana and fruit-bearing trees, an area for free-range chicken, among others. This collaborative effort is a manifestation of both parties’ commitment towards service and excellence.
