The University’s Extension Services and Community Engagement (ESCE) Department conducted a training on August 12, 2025 to equip personnel from all three campuses with the skills for documenting and preparing progress reports.

The in-service training, titled “Standardization and Enhancement of ESCE Project Progress and Terminal Reports,” was held to ensure transparency, accountability, and effective knowledge sharing through organized and well-crafted progress and terminal reports that meet institutional and funding agency standards. Mr. Baltazar G. Damance, Campus Administrator of Cabarroguis, extended a warm welcome to the participants.

Dr. Hermenegildo F. Samoy, Jr., PhD, emphasized in his message that the University’s true value is measured by its ability to improve the lives of those it serves. He stated, “We hope to see more of our reports, especially under ESCE, because these are not just numbers, but stories of struggles, solutions, and successes.”

Held at the RDET Training Hall 1, Cabarroguis Campus, the initiative was facilitated by Dr. Elizabeth T. Carig, Vice President for Academics, Research, and Extension, and Dr. Fredisminda M. Dolojan, University Director of ESCE, who served as resource speakers.

The training concluded with the awarding of certificates and closing remarks by Dr. Melidiossa V. Pagudpud, ESCE Director of Cabarroguis Campus.
