The University and the Department of Health- Treatment and Rehabilitation Center (DOH TRC R02) forged a partnership yesterday, August 11, to conduct Drug Awareness Campaign among students in all QSU campuses.
The DOH TRC 02 was represented by Dr. Charity I. Canapi, Chief of Hospital III and QSU was represented by Dr. Hermenegildo F. Samoy, Jr., University President. They were joined by Dr. Elizabeth T. Carig, Vice President for Academics, Research and Extension; Dr. Divina Gracia S. Sabio, Campus Administrator of Diffun; and personnel from DOH. The signing of the memorandum of agreement was held at the ARE Conference Room, JAA Building, Diffun Campus.
This collaboration signifies a proactive step towards safeguarding the youth in the university from the dangers of illegal drug abuse. By combining the resources and expertise of both institutions, the campaign is poised to make a significant impact in promoting a drug-free environment and fostering a healthier future for students.
