The University has concluded the initial phase of its Quality Management System (QMS) Surveillance Audit, officially receiving a recommendation to advance to the next stage. This significant achievement was confirmed today, December 5, 2025 during the audit’s Closing Program.
Mr. Vincent Ellie B. Jaramilla, Lead Auditor from the certifying body ACS W3 Solutionz, presented a comprehensive summary of his findings from the three-day audit. The rigorous review covered key service functions across the Diffun, Cabarroguis, and Maddela Campuses.
During the program, Mr. Jaramilla confirmed the University’s success with the crucial announcement that zero minor or major non-conformity was identified. This outcome affirms the institution’s efforts to maintain exceptionally high global quality standards.
The auditor complemented the positive findings by highlighting many good practices he observed in key service functions including academics, research, extension, and administration and finance. He also provided constructive recommendations detailing areas of opportunity to help enhance institutional growth and optimize operational efficiency.
With gratitude, Mr. Jaramillo acknowledged the active cooperation and dedication shown by the QSU administration, faculty, and staff throughout the rigorous process. He also commended the hands-on involvement of the institution’s top officials: Dr. Hermenegildo F. Samoy, Jr., University President; Dr. Florigold V. Saldaen, Vice President for Administration and Finance and Quality Management Representative (QMR); and Dr. Elizabeth T. Carig, Vice President for Academics, Research, and Extension.
