The Commission on Higher Education (CHED) Regional Office 02 held a monitoring and evaluation visit to the University’s Graduate School (GS) yesterday, November 20, 2025. The activity sought to validate the GS Programs’ compliance to CHED’s policies, standards, and guidelines.

Dr. Hermenegildo F. Samoy, Jr., University President, along with Dr. Elizabeth T. Carig and Dr. Florigold V. Saldaen, Vice Presidents, welcomed the CHED officials. The evaluation of documents proceeded with the presence of the QSU Task Force and GS faculty members.

Dr. Jocelyn P. Carag and Dr. Pilar B. Acorda, Education Supervisors, evaluated the documents presented by the different programs, including the hard copies of the Self-Assessment Reports (SAR). This visit is an essential part of the Commission’s mandate to monitor and evaluate the delivery of academic offerings.
