Graduates from the University’s Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics (BSND) program earned a remarkable 92.31% first-takers’ rating in the recent Nutritionist-Dietitians Licensure Examination (NDLE). As posted on the website of the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC), the BSND program’s performance significantly surpassed the 69.43% national passing rate.

This feat is a clear affirmation of the quality education and intensive preparation our graduates receive. It demonstrates the BSND program’s dedication to developing highly skilled and top-tier professionals ready to make a significant impact in the field of public health and nutrition.

This success is attributed not only to the continuous initiatives for instructional improvement within the BSND curriculum but also to the dedicated supplementary support provided by the BSND’s ARISE initiative, specifically the NDLEAP (Nutrition and Dietetics Licensure Examination Advancement Program). The NDLEAP is a comprehensive program designed to prepare graduates for the board examination, which includes in-house reviews, coaching sessions with successful alumni, mental health support, and logistical assistance before the examination.

Dr. Hermenegildo F. Samoy, Jr., President, and the University community extend their warmest congratulations to the 12 new Registered Nutritionist-Dietitians (RNDS)! Your hard work and dedication have brought immense pride to QSU.

Heartfelt gratitude is also extended to the dedicated faculty of the BSND Program, under the leadership of Dr. Arlyn J. Yra, Program Chairperson, whose exceptional mentorship and tireless efforts in implementing the NDLEAP were instrumental to the graduates’ exceptional performance.

Kudos dear graduates! May your careers be filled with success, self-fulfillment, and continuous learning. We wish you all the best as you embark on your professional endeavors!
