In an effort to uphold transparent and efficient public service, the QSU Committee on Anti-Red Tape (CART) and Internal Audit Unit (IAU) assessed the University’s compliance with the Ease of Doing Business (EODB) and Efficient Government Service Delivery Act of 2018 (Republic Act 11032) across its Diffun, Cabarroguis, and Maddela Campuses from May 21-23, 2025.
The comprehensive inspection, spearheaded by Dr. Florigold V. Saldaen, Vice President for Administration and Finance and CART Chairperson, aimed to review frontline service provision at each campus. The inspection team included: Ms. Kristine Joy Castillo, Supervising Administrative Officer; Dr. Eduard Alip, Campus Administrator of Maddela; Dr. Elaine May R. Gonzales, Head of the Information Unit, along with IAU members Ms. Merlyn P. Guade, Mr. Michael R. Magdangal, and Ms. Reyvilen Pearl D. Esguerra, who provided expertise to the assessment.
This evaluation supported the national activities aligned with Presidential Proclamation No. 818, which designates May as EODB Month. It also served as a direct follow-up to the Orientation on the EODB Act conducted on May 16, which was concurrently observed as National Education Support Personnel Day, highlighting the importance of efficient processes for all stakeholders.
The findings from this multi-campus inspection provide insights which are instrumental in formulating strategic improvements to further enhance the University’s service delivery mechanisms.
