The victors from the University, who represented the school at the 2025 State Colleges and Universities Athletic Association (SCUAA) National Games, recently had the honor of sharing their inspiring journey in a face-to-face interview with the Philippine Information Agency (PIA) – Quirino and DWQP. During the interview, they recounted their experiences in the national competion.

Following their media appearance, the athletes received a warm welcome from Hon. Dakila Carlo E. Cua, Governor and Hon. Midy N. Cua,Congresswoman, who commended them for bringing pride to the Province of Quirino. They praised the athletes’ hard work and celebrated their achievements.

The Governor and Congresswoman also extended heartfelt congratulations to the coaching team, whose guidance and expertise were instrumental to the athletes’ success. Spearheading this effort were the dedicated coaches and coordinators, led by Mr. Jaimark P. Villamayor, Director of Sports and Wellness Development and Mr. Nelson Guray, General Coach.

This milestone showcases the power of teamwork, discipline, and passion—values that the University instills in its students. As these athletes continue to reach greater heights, they inspire not only their fellow students but also aspiring athletes across the province.
