The University, through its Midwifery Program in Cabarroguis Campus, was hailed as the country’s 9th top-performing school based on the results of the April 2025 Midwifery Licensure Examination.
The Professional Regulatory Board of Midwifery presented a certificate recognition to the University for achieving at least 80% passing percentage among schools, colleges, or universities with 30 or more examinees. The Cabarroguis Campus secured its rank for achieving an 84.44% passing rate.
Dr. Hermenegildo F. Samoy, Jr., University President, received the award during the Oath of Profession Ceremony, held today, May 19 at Century Park Hotel, Malate, Manila. Accompanying him were: Dr. Elizabeth T. Carig, Vice President for Academic Research and Extension; Mr. Baltazar G. Damance, Campus Administrator for Cabarroguis; Dr. Divina Gracia S. Sabio, OIC Campus Administrator for Diffun; Mr. Jumar Villegas and Ms. Marivic V. Acio, faculty members from the Midwifery Department.
This achievement stems from the University’s consistent efforts to uphold standards of excellence and create a supportive learning environment for its students, producing competent graduates who can meaningfully contribute to the nation’s healthcare sector.
