Faculty members from the University presented six research and development (R&D) papers at the 35th Cagayan Valley Agriculture, Aquatic and Resources Research and Development (CVAARRD) Regional Symposium on RDE Highlights. The symposium, themed “Future Harvests and Sustainable Horizons: Innovating AANR to Foster Resilient and Greener Communities,” was held on October 30 – 31, 2024, at the Climate Change R&D Support Facility of Isabela State University in Echague, Isabela.
The event was graced by the keynote speaker, Director Marita A. Carlos of the Applied Communication Division of DOST – PCAARRD, and the guest speaker, Dr. Junel B. Soriano, Director of the DA – Bureau of Agricultural Research.
This event serves as valuable platform for monitoring and evaluating R&D and extension activities within the CVAARRD Consortium. QSU participates in this annual event as it brings together various stakeholders such as technology generators, researchers, communicators, extension workers, farmers, entrepreneurs, policymakers, representatives from different agencies and sectors, and subject matter specialists. It facilitates the dissemination of technologies to end-users, technology adoption, knowledge sharing, planning, and the promotion of developed technologies.
