Four sports leaders from the University recently participated in the Association of State Colleges and Universities (ASCU) – Solid North Innovative Coaching and Strategic Training Practices, held at Mariano Marcos State University (MMSU) – Batac City Campus from October 14-18, 2024. The workshop aimed to enhance coaching skills and strategic training practices, ultimately contributing to the development of QSU’s sports programs.
The QSU delegation included: Ms. Shamma Mae Agustin from Diffun Campus; Ms. Nelly Sacnet, Sports and Wellness Development Program (SWDP) Coordinator and Ms. Madelyn May De Guzman from Cabarroguis Campus; and Mr. Constantine Villanueva, SWDP Coordinator of Maddela Campus.
The training is timely as QSU prepares for the upcoming University Meet and various sports activities in November. It also serves as a good jumpstart for the University’s proposed sports development project, which aims to provide a comprehensive initiative to promote sports development and a culture of wellness within the QSU community.
