Faculty members from Quirino State University-Diffun Campus, namely: Ms. Divine Grance O. Olano, Ms. Rhiza Grace A. Ramos, and Mr. Jay Francis P. Yra recently took their oath as Professional Computer Engineers (PCpEs) on October 4, during the conduct of the 4th ICpEP International (12th National) Convention and General Assembly.

In addition, Mr. Giancarlo B. Bautista from the Information Technology Unit also took the oath as a Certified Computer Engineer (CCpE).

The oath-taking ceremony was a highlight of the international convention organized by the Computer Engineering Certification Board, Inc. (CpECB) and the Institute of Computer Engineers of the Philippines (ICpEP). During the ceremony, the QSU personnel were officially granted their PCpE and CCpE certifications and lifetime membership to the ICpEP.

Held on October 3-5, 2024 at the Cebu Parklane International Hotel in Cebu City, the convention provided a platform for computer engineering professionals to discuss and explore the potential of artificial intelligence in advancing sustainable development.
