QSU renewed its (ISO) 9001:2015 registration certificate after passing the global standards of quality management system wherein the certification was issued on December 22, 2022 by ACS W3 Solutionz.
Dr. Florigold V. Saldaen, Quality Assurance Director – ISO, explicated the objective of being an ISO Certified university for the accreditation of various departments/colleges towards commitment for the improvement of operations and facilities of the institution.
“We underwent hectic auditing processes such as preparing important documents for ISO certification that includes all the departments of the Diffun, Cabarroguis, and Maddela campuses” she said.
“The procedures and documentation of the various activities of every offices must undergo auditing processes along with the checking of the facilities and cleanliness, that’s why we have to audit the phases of 7s”, she added.
In this connection, 7s is a process and method for creating and maintaining an organized, clean, safe, and high performance workplace, the 7 phases consist of Sort, Straighten, Scrub, Sustain, Safety, and Spirit.
The scope of the said certificate includes administrative and support services, research development, extension, and training services with an inclusion of instruction area for this year in pursuit of the upcoming accreditation of the College of Teacher Education.
(ISO) 9001:2015 registration certificate is issued to any organization, regardless of size or industry after passing the global standards of quality management system.
Moreover, it attests to the institutionโs compliance with international standards in providing quality services to its clients and meeting the needs of its stakeholders.

The said certification is valid from December 22, 2022 to December 10, 2024.
QSU received its first (ISO) 9001:2015 certificate in 2019.
