QSU-Diffun CLE Passing Rate up by 76.37%
Quirino State University-Diffun gained an overall passing rate of 41.27% (i.e. 26 out of 63) in the Criminologist Licensure Examination, Dec. 4-6, 2022.
The result is relatively higher than the University’s previous passing rate at 23.40% (i.e. 11 out 36 passers) back in June 2022 CLE.
Last January 19, 2023, the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced 11,098 out of 33,489 (33.14%) examinees successfully passed the CLE last December 2022.
“This record is attained through the collaboration of College Professors and students, who both have exerted their best to teach and learn from Freshmen up to Senior years,” Program Chair Darwynn Estillore shared in an interview.
He said that professors and students have one goal and that is to learn and apply basic principles of Criminology, not just for the Criminologist Licensure Exam, but also in their future careers, as a broader perspective.
“The students went through rigid pieces of training that caused them a lot of time management and self-discipline to balance academe and extracurricular activities,” he added.
Estillore mentioned it is all about teamwork–without the participation of one, the goal might not be deemed achievable.
“I want QSU BS Crim Students to know that in pursuing our dreams, there are ups and downs along the way, but if we live with a purpose to become successful, we will get stronger and keep on,” he advised.
The Program Chairperson encouraged the next CLE Takers to keep pursuing their dreams no matter how many obstructions get in the way.
“Passing the board exam is not easy; we should double our effort for the entire course and also in the review,” Estillore expressed.
