The University’s Finance Department and Human Resource Management Unit recently visited Isabela State University (ISU)- Ilagan Campus for a benchmarking activity.

Led by Dr. Cherry P. Collado, Chief Administrative Officer for Finance, the team of accountants, cashiers, and HR personnel from the three campuses engaged with their ISU counterparts to learn about their established online banking and disbursement processes.

The visiting team was warmly welcomed by Mr. Armand Francis C. Ruma, AFS Director; Mr. Rafael S. Ramos, GSO Director; and Atty. Maria Kristel L. Pascual, Head of HRMO. Further enriching the visit, Mr. Joshua D. Fernandez and Ms. Marializa M. Gaspar served as resource speakers and shared their valuable expertise.

A significant point of discussion revolved around ISU Ilagan’s efficient payroll system, which has inspired the institution to explore the real-time online uploading of salaries through the Landbank online facility.
This benchmarking activity serves as a vital step in the University’s strategy to enhance its service delivery through digital innovation.
