Mr. Neirtem Onyx R. Silverio, a student from Quirino State University-Diffun Campus, earned the First Runner-Up spot in the Engine and Agricultural Machinery Parts Identification Competition during the PABEStigan XII. This national event was held on January 23 to 25, 2026 at the University of the Philippines Los Baรฑos (UPLB), Laguna.
Organized by the UP Society of Agricultural Engineering Students (UP SAGES) in collaboration with the Agricultural Machinery Testing and Evaluation Center (AMTEC) and the Center for Agri-Fisheries and Biosystems Mechanization (BIOMECH), the competition drew โagri-visionaries” from 23 schools across 23 provinces nationwide.
Mr. Silverio, a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering (BSABE) student, represented the University under the expert guidance of his coach, Engr. Paul B. Pablo.
