Fourth-year students from the Bachelor of Elementary Education (BEED), Secondary Education (BSED), and Technology and Livelihood Education (BTLED) programs completed an intensive First Aid and Basic Life Support (BLS) Training today, January 16,2026. This program serves as a critical final step before these seniors begin their teaching internships in various schools across the province.

During the second day of the training, students participated in practical sessions on bandaging techniques and emergency rescue transfers. To validate their mastery of these skills, participants were subjected to a rigorous evaluation through return demonstrations and a comprehensive written exam.

The event concluded with the presentation of certificates of recognition to the PDRRMO resource speakers and instructors. This collaboration reflects the University’s proactive initiative to work with local agencies in providing students with industry-standard safety competencies and emergency response skills.
