Quirino State University joins the Philippine Commission on Women (PCW) and the nation in the observance of the 18 – Day Violence Against Women (VAW) campaign, with its theme “UNiTEd for a VAW-free Philippines.”
Aligned with the global movement, “UNiTE by 2030 to End Violence Against Women,” the University fully supports the campaign as a vital, nationwide platform for advocacy and policy advancement. This year’s observance focuses on a whole-of-nation approach which reinforces the campaign’s core message: ending the worldwide pandemic of violence against women and girls is a collective responsibility. It requires every sector—including the academe, government, private citizens, and the youth to unite and actively participate by speaking up, preventing violence, supporting survivors, and promoting justice to build a safer and more inclusive Bagong Pilipinas.
As one community, all students, personnel, and stakeholders across campuses are encouraged to participate actively in this campaign by doing the following:
*Share VAW-related news, articles, photos, and other relevant information online using #VAWfreePH and other campaign hashtags.
*Use the 18-day Campaign to End VAW Facebook Profile Frame, which is available on this link : https://twb.nz/vawfreeph2025frame .
