Students and faculty members of the University received several accolades during the 6th National Award Night 2025 of the Alliance of Hospitality and Tourism Movers of the Philippines (AHTOMP). The awarding ceremony, which recognizes outstanding performance and leadership in the hospitality and tourism sector, was recently held at the Manila Grand Opera Hotel & Casino.

For the Student Category, Ms. May-Ann N. Orilla, Mr. King Isaac P. Gaspar, and Mr. Michael Jay G. Oanaguen were all honored for their outstanding performance as students and leaders.

Furthermore, the University’s student organization, β€œThe Daily Knead,” was named the Most Outstanding Student Body Organization for Leadership and Organizational Excellence.

Trainers from the College of Hospitality and Tourism Management (CHTM)- Skills Training and Assessment Center (STAC) have received awards for their dedication and innovative approach to education. Mr. Bernard Allan R. Milla was distinguished as the Most Exceptional and Innovative TVET Hospitality and Tourism Trainer of the Year while Ms. Maricar R. Abello was recognized as the Most Outstanding and Promising Professional Entrepreneurship Trainer of the Year.

Moreover, several faculty members were also awarded for their exemplary performance as educators in the field of hospitality and tourism: Ms. Rachel B. Nucaza, Mr. Jefferson N. Curammeng, Mr. Mark Jefferson L. Mauyao, and Ms. Cherry Joy Abon-Lucena.

Beyond the awards, education leaders were appointed to significant roles within the organization. Prof. Jonathan N. Tariga, Program Chairperson of the CHTM-Diffun Campus, and Dr. Carina D. Rustia, Program Chairperson of the BSHM-Cabarroguis Campus, were named Regional Advocate Directors of Cagayan Valley. Concurrently, Ms. Kristine A. Dela Cruz and Ms. Bernadette C. Cortez were appointed as Regional Advocate Officers for Quirino.
