Quirino State University (QSU) continues to strengthen its internationalization initiatives through a partnership with the Bulacan Agricultural State College (BASC), Adamas University (AU, India), and National Chi Nan University (NCNU, Taiwan). This collaboration led to the conduct of the International Lecture Series No. 10, focusing on “Internationalization at Home Strategies through Fulbright and COIL Programs.”

Three esteemed experts from the University served as resource speakers for the two-day event, sharing the institution’s proven strategies for global academic engagement. The team included: Dr. Romiro G. Bautista, Professor VI and International Relations Officer (IRO); Dr. Jonathan N. Tariga, Professor III and Program Chairperson of the BS Hospitality Management (BSHM); and Dr. Arlyn J. Yra, Associate Professor and Program Chairperson of the BS Nutrition and Dietetics (BSND).

Their presentations focused on international book publishing, implementation of Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL), and Fulbright initiatives vis-à-vis internationalization goals.

The QSU team shared their expertise alongside other seasoned international speakers: Dr. Shauli Mukherjee, Professor of AU, and Dr. Ching-Ying Tung, Professor of NCNU.

The event provided a rich platform for inter-institutional dialogue, demonstrating collaboration among the partner universities to elevate the standard of global education within the Philippines. It was held on October 13–14, 2025, at the BASC Function Hall in San Ildefonso, Bulacan.
