With mirth and pride, the University announces that all its undergraduate programs across its Diffun, Cabarroguis, and Maddela campuses have achieved a Certificate of Program Compliance (COPC) from the Commission on Higher Education (CHED).
The COPC is an official recognition from the CHED that our academic programs have successfully met the national standards, requirements, and guidelines as outlined in CHED Memorandum Orders (CMOs) released in 2017.
Achieving 100% COPC compliance brings significant benefits to the entire university community. For students, the document certifies that their chosen program has been thoroughly vetted and meets national quality standards. This ensures that their curriculum is up-to-date and relevant, and that the faculty, facilities, and resources are adequate to support their learning. Consequently, it makes QSU graduates eligible to process an application for a professional licensure examination with the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC). A degree from a COPC-compliant program thus enhances its value and credibility, making graduates more competitive in both local and international job markets.
The certification also confirms that the University’s programs are managed by qualified and competent educators, with the support of efficient administration personnel. It also provides a clear framework for continuous improvement, encouraging faculty to engage in professional development, curriculum enhancement, and research that keeps them at the forefront of their fields.
Moreover, all programs undergo rigorous accreditation procedures under the Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines (AACCUP) for continuous improvement, with only two programs currently holding a candidate-level status.
With this seal of quality, the University continues to strengthen partnerships with government agencies, industries, and the broader community while acculturizing innovation in its provision of services.
