In response to the request of the Student Government of Quirino State University through Resolution No. 04-08-18 (48), and with full recognition of the importance of promoting student wellness and work-life balance, the University President has approved the declaration of April 14 to 16, 2025 as Mental Health Break for all students of QSU across all campuses.

This Mental Health Break is intended to give students the opportunity to rest, recharge, and attend to their mental and emotional well-being. Faculty members are advised to support this initiative by ensuring no deadlines or requirements fall within the said dates.

Students are encouraged to make good use of this time to engage in self-care, connect with support systems, and participate in meaningful rest and reflection, especially with the upcoming end of the academic semester.

Moreover, a WORK-FROM-HOME (WFH) arrangement shall be implemented for all administrative staff and faculty members across campuses as part of this initiative. The WFH schedule shall be observed on April 14-16, 2025. During this period, all concerned personnel are expected to carry out their duties remotely while remaining accessible during official working hours. Office heads are advised to ensure continuity of operations and proper coordination among team members.

Furthermore, frontline service units and other client-facing offices are directed to ensure that all pending transactions are completed in compliance with the Republic Act No. 11032[1][2] otherwise known as Ease of Doing Business and Efficient Government Service Delivery Act of 2018, especially before the Holy Week break. It is imperative that no urgent matter or public service be left unaddressed due to the WFH arrangement.

This initiative aims to provide our workforce with the opportunity to pause, reflect, and recharge while upholding our shared commitment to efficient and responsive public service.
