James Bond E. Gacusan recently secured a silver medal in the 200m Breaststroke and a bronze medal in the 100m Breaststroke – Aquatics Event, while Jean Fritzi B. Bimmala earned a bronze medal in Pencaksilat at the 2025 State Colleges and Universities Athletic Association (SCUAA) National Games, held at Camiguin Polytechnic State College, Mambajao, Camiguin.

The athletes’ success was made possible through the support of university officials, led by Mr. Jaimark P. Villamayor, Director of Sports and Wellness Development; Mr. Nelson Guray, General Coach; Mr. Jonathan Tariga, Aquatics Coach; and Mr. Dexie Jay A. De Guzman, Pencaksilat Coach, who contributed their expertise and dedication to the team’s journey.
