The faculty and administration personnel of the University joined forces today, November 19, 2024 in a mass cleaning initiative to restore the campus from the damages caused by the recent typhoons. These storms brought severe impact on the province’s agricultural sector and infrastructure. Equipped with brooms, shovels, and other cleaning tools, personnel from the three campuses worked together to clear debris, remove fallen trees, and clean up the campus grounds.

The initiative comes as a response to the urgent need to prepare the university for the resumption of classes, which were suspended today in accordance with Executive Order 32, series of 2024, issued by the Office of the Provincial Governor to ensure the safety of the students.

The mass work was not only a physical effort but also a symbolic one, demonstrating the resilience and strength of the QSU community in the face of adversity.
