The Philippine Council for Agriculture, Aquatic and Natural Resources Research and Development (PCAARRD), recently recognized researchers of QSU for publishing the study titled, “Development of a Carbon in Aboveground Biomass Forecast Model for Underutilized Species in Quirino Forest Landscape Project, Philippines” in the Journal of Tropical Forest Sciences, an international-reviewed and web of science indexed journal.
For.Ā Gerlyn B. Orpiano and her co- authors Dr. Elizabth T. Carig, For. Joel G. Carig , all from QSU and Dr. Ryan Manuel of NVSU, were notified of their Publication Incentive Award for crafting and publishing a research that has met the journal’sĀ standard for quality, relevance, reliability, and appropriateness. The incentive award entitles the authors a cash incentive amounting to Php 70,000.
