The University’s Extension Services and Community Engagement (ESCE) Department, in partnership with the Cooperative Development Authority (CDA), recently facilitated another batch of Training of Trainers (TOT) for CDA-Accredited and Prospective Cooperative Training Providers (CTPROs).
Held at the Amphitheater in Diffun Campus, the three-day intensive workshop aimed to equip CTPROs with the expertise to design, conduct, monitor, and evaluate trainings for cooperatives, aligning with CDA’s standards.
Twelve participants representing five organizations in Region 2 attended the event. The training modules covered essential topics, including: Cooperative as a Tool for Development, Training Management for Cooperative Development, Cooperative Training Skills and Techniques, and Action Planning.
A panel of experts led the learning sessions: Dr. Fredisminda M. Dolojan, Ms. Frelita O. Bartolome, Engr. Francisco M. Natividad, Mr. Ronald M. Abenoja, Ms. Marjorie C. Opiano, and Mr. Edison Kurt M. Pacunla. Their combined expertise ensured a comprehensive and engaging learning experience. Furthermore, the program incorporated practical and hands-on workshops, thereby enhancing the participants’ understanding and facilitating a smoother transfer of knowledge.
This initiative prepared the participants to deliver high-quality training to cooperatives throughout the region, which would eventually contribute to the overall advancement of the cooperative sector.
