Twenty-five graduates from the College of Agriculture in Diffun and Macddela Campuses are now licensed agriculturists, as announced by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) through its website on November 22. The Licensure Examination for Agriculturists (LAE) took place on November 12 -14, 2024 in 18 testing centers in the country.
QSU Diffun achieved good results, boasting a 60.87% passing rate among first-time takers. This is significantly higher than the national average of 50.81%. The repeaters achieved an excellent 87.50% passing rate, contributing to an overall institutional passing rate of 67.74%.
Meanwhile, QSU Maddela gained 42.86 % first-taker rate, resulting to a 2.86% improvement from its previous board exam rating. It gained a 100% repeater rate that contributed to an overall passing rate of 50%.
The University extends its sincerest congratulations to the newly licensed agriculturists. The institution also expresses its gratitude to the dedicated faculty members of the College of Agriculture, under the leadership of Dr. Edgar V. Benabise, Dean of CAFE, and the guidance of Program Chairpersons – Dr. Maria C. Hernandez of QSU Diffun and Mr. Dennie T. Ruma of QSU Maddela, for their valuable contributions in preparing the alumni for the rigorous board examination.
