The University observes the 127th anniversary of the Philippine Independence Day, a significant day in our nation’s history.
Gen. Emilio Aguinaldo’s declaration, made from his ancestral home in Kawit, Cavite, marked the culmination of the Philippine Revolution and the end of over three centuries of Spanish colonial rule. This momentous event established a provisional republic and serves as a powerful symbol of the Filipino people’s struggle for freedom and self-governance.
As one university community, let us honor the sacrifices made for our freedom and reflect on the values of self-determination and national unity.
