The Career Service Examination – Pen and Paper Test (CSE-PPT) proceeded smoothly on March 2, 2025 at the QSU Diffun Campus, one of the regular testing centers in Quirino. Held in coordination with the University’s Human Resource Management Office (HRMO), the CSE-PPT was closely monitored by representatives from the Civil Service Commission (CSC). Led by Ms. Rowena Y. Pimentel, Unit Head and Chief Examiner, teaching personnel, staff from the University, and some DepEd personnel facilitated the examination in the campus.

Atty. Ryan Alvin R. Acosta, CSC Commissioner and Atty. Maritess Lappay, CSC Regional Director of Region 2, personally oversaw the examination to ensure strict compliance with established protocols and procedures. Their monitoring included the retrieval of test booklets and other materials, and verification that both used and unused answer sheets were properly shredded, maintaining the integrity of the examination process.

QSU extended a warm welcome to the CSC officials and their team. Dr. Hermenegildo F. Samoy, Jr., University President; Dr. Elizabeth T. Carig, Vice President for Academic Research & Extension; and Dr. Divina Gracia S. Sabio, Diffun Campus Administrator, were all present to assist Commissioner Acosta and RD Lappay throughout the monitoring activity. Their collaboration ensured a seamless and secure examination environment.

The successful conduct of the CSE-PPT at Diffun Campus proves QSU’s dedication to academic integrity and exemplary public service.
